Refund policy

Effective date: July 15, 2026

Every service and hair solution at Bond Hair Bar is custom-designed for the individual client. Hair extensions, toppers, hairpieces, color services and related products are custom ordered, cut, colored, installed or otherwise customized for that client. For this reason, all sales are final.

No refunds

Bond does not issue refunds on deposits, salon services, custom hair orders, hair extensions, toppers, hairpieces, customized products, hair care products, supplies or gift certificates.

Consultation fees

Consultation fees ($100 in salon, $75 virtual) are non-refundable. The $50 deposit collected when a consultation is booked is non-refundable.

Cancellations and no-shows

Cancellations within 24 hours of the appointment are charged 50% of the appointment value. No-shows are charged the full appointment value.

Deposits

Deposits paid to book an installation appointment and order custom hair are non-refundable. Custom hair and supplies ordered for a client are the property of that client, whether or not the hair is installed.

Concerns and adjustments

Clients are responsible for approving the color, length, style, placement and overall look before and during the service. Concerns about a service must be raised with Bond Hair Bar at (650) 376-3582 within three days of the appointment so the work can be inspected. Adjustments, modifications and additional services are performed at current service rates and are not complimentary.
